WETLAND HOUSE

inspired by a vision to create a home
that fluidly connects the
landscape to interior.

THE BRIEF

The client wished to employ the use of open style living and carefully zoned spaces to encourage connectivity and interaction throughout the home. The orientation of the home and it’s structures were key priority, as the client wished to take advantage of the surrounding views.

CONSTRUCTION
method & materials

Conventional Raft Slab
Timber Frame
Structural Steel
Semi Glazed bricks with black mortar

THE RESULT

A series of mixed materials were used to created
a space that showcased light, landscape and texture. With 3 meter ceilings throughout the home,
